Community Policing is an integral part of combatting crime and improving the quality of life in Stockbridge by creating an interactive approach to problem solving and problem prevention based upon partnership between Stockbridge citizens and the Stockbridge Police. It is based on the belief that police officers and private citizens working together can help solve community problems related to crime, fear of crime, and quality of life issues. We will use a practical approach, and respect for the dignity of each individual and the diversity of our community, to broaden communication and collaboration between Stockbridge citizens, neighborhood organizations, the Stockbridge Police Department, and other organizations, in serving and strengthening our community.
